When I was growing up most of the kids around had a tree house or a playhouse. Mine was an old shed in our backyard with a dirt floor. My neighbor was lucky to have a tree house. High up in the tree was pieces of wood nailed into the tree to make the flooring, then a small frame of a house was built; with one window and one doorway, a rope was hanging down for us to swing on. We thought this was just fantastic and back then it was, but now I have came across some unique play houses that is beyond fantastic, even a tree house. Everyone loves little books! One is a Christmas Book and the other is a Birthday book. These little books can be made for any occasion: Wedding, Halloween, Valentines Day, Anniversary, Fathers day, mothers day, Graduation, Easter, or just any thing you can think of. Very easy to make and it doesn't take much time. The most time will be deciding just what to put on the inside of the card. As you can see the Winter wishes has 2 snowmen having a snowball fight. The snowballs look like they are suspended in mid-air. Look close and you will see one snowball that was thrown past the little snowman. The cardstock you need for the Christmas book is very vanilla, whisper white, Ink : Pacific Point, bashful blue, Old olive, the stamp sets you need Merry Winter, Lovely as a Tree, Christmas Lodge, Pines & Poinsettias. Marker colors: Old Olive ,cherry cobbler, daffodil yellow, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist, black stazon, White gel pen. Hole punch for the small snowballs and the snowball from the stocking accents die cut. White glimmer paper for the snowballs. Your greetings for the front, and on the side I used rub on words from stampinup. Gold Lame smooch on the front of the cover. simply score board from stampinup. The snowman on the front of the cover is from an old Christmas Card. The very Vanilla is 2- 4×11 and 2- 6×11 place on score board with the short side up against the side & the long edge at the top, score every 1/2" across each of the 4 card pieces. The accordion fold each piece using the bone folder to crease as you fold. Take the short piece and one long piece and intertwine the two together add a little glue to the front and back flap to hold in place. Do the other side the same way put the two pieces together making a book or the frame of the pages. Decorate your outside edge around on the very vanilla. Take a piece of card stock for the back page and decorate it. snail this piece to the back of the frame. Making sure that it doesn't extend beyond the fake pages. Add your pieces to the inside and secure them with glue or glue dots. Make your cover cut a piece 6 1/4 x 9 1/2. score at 4 1/16 turn and score again at 4 1/16. Fold on the fold lines. Decorate the front of the book. on the side with basic black writer marker fine point side make two lines 1/8" in between, add your title words . Using sticky tape run one on the inside of the first fold line and run another one inside the other fold line. Use sticky tape on the little book and glue to the back of inside cover, press the crease to the center of the book. Your little book is all done and ready to be given as a gift. You can always write on the inside of the little book or the outside of the book before you put it togeter.
There are different types of treatment out there to treat Sleep Apnea. If you are only diagnosed with mild your doctor may only suggest some life style changes like: loosing weight, quit smoking or raising the head of your bed up so you are not lying flat.
If you are diagnosed with moderate to severe you may require a sleep apnea machine to help keep your airways open during your sleep. The machine is called a CPAP or BIPAP. These machines have a mask that fits over your face which prevents apnea or snoring while sleeping.
Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty or UPPP is a surgical procedure where the doctor removes tissue from the back of your mouth and from the top of your throat, your tonsils and adenoids are also removed.
Another procedure is called Maxillomandibular advancement. This is where your jaw is moved forward from the remainder of the face bones, making a space in the back of your mouth. This makes obstruction less likely. This procedure will require an oral surgeon and a orthodontist.
Tracheostomy is another type of surgery. This is only used if all other types of treatment has failed or if your sleep apnea is severe or life threatening. The surgeon makes an opening in your neck and inserts a metal or plastic tube for you to breathe. The opening is covered during the day but left uncovered at night to allow air into your lungs.
Nasal surgery is also something to consider if you have nasal polyps or even if your nostril is crooked. Oxygen can also be used at night to help you sleep.

We all have made fun of people who have snored while they were asleep. you see it in cartoons or on television programs. Let me tell you, this isn't something to laugh about.
About 25% of all adults have what is known as Sleep Apnea. You may ask just what is Sleep Apnea? It is when your muscles relax and your airways become narrow or even closes when you breath during your sleep. You stop breathing for several seconds. Your brain gets a signal and the brain then causes you to awake just enough to start you breathing again. It may be a snort, choking sound, or even a gasping sound as your body begins to breath again. Like a little shock treatment from the brain.
For some people they don't even know that they stop breathing during their sleep. Some people are weakening by their partner, or even their snoring is so loud it wakes them up. People will fill tired the next day, and some may not even have any effects. Sleep Apnea has been diagnosed as mild, moderate and severe.
You may develop complications from having Sleep Apnea; cardiovascular problems, increase risk of a stroke, sudden death from a cardiac event, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure and other vascular diseases.
The symptoms associated with Sleep Apnea is fatigue, severe daytime drowsiness, difficulty in concentration at work, drowsiness while driving, or watching television, moody or depression and irritability. Sleep Apnea doesn't only effect adults but it also effects teenagers and children. It may be more noticeable in children with ADHD or ADD. If your child is doing poorly in school talk to your doctor about having them tested for Sleep Apnea.
One thing for sure is that it can be treated and my even save your life.
Santa has a helper this year as he rides across the sky delivering all his presents to the boys and girls. You may be lucky enough that they might stop by your house. The card stock is Pacific Point, The sleigh is cherry cobbler, whisper white, and black. The elf is ornament punch and the ears are the wing from build a bird punch, use blushing bride card stock, then use blushing bride ink daubed around the edges. Daub pretty n pink on the cheeks. The sleigh is cut with a die cut of top note and embossed with vintage wall. The snow flakes are versa mark . Santa's bags are real red and black, punched with the ornament punch, and cherry cobbler twine tied around each bag.
Can you imagine receiving this beautiful can in the mail for your Birthday! The card stock is Whisper White, Old Olive, Wild Wasabi. Punch blossom pedal, leave die cut, top note die cut. You need to punch out 9 pedals, 2 leaves die cut ran through the big shot, also run the top note through the big shot. Save the outer edge from the top note as this will be used for the inside of the birthday card. You will need pretty n pink, lavender lace (retired), bashful blue and lucky limeade ink and daubers, Lucky limeade writer marker. Stamp set Merry Winter , using the snowflakes stamped in versa mark and white embossing powder. You will also need the square lattice embossing folder.
